On January 26th melita.io acquired the IoT SIM card business owned by Sweden-based IoT operator Netmore M2M (www.netmorem2m.com). This acquisition doubled melita.io’s active IoT SIMs deployed globally.

HeProCalc – IoT Solution for Health Applications

Within the healthcare sector, remote health monitoring is one of the most used IoT applications. Collecting vital metrics such as heart rate, temperature, and blood pressure levels eliminates the need for patients to travel to healthcare providers. Netmore M2M however took IoT in healthcare one giant step further. By partnering with Swedish Medtech start-up company HeProCalc it helped develop guided perfusion systems and empower thoracic clinics with vital data.

Every year thoracic clinics around the world report clot formations that result from insufficient anticoagulation in filters, oxygenators, and reservoirs. These clot formations are a huge risk for patients and perfusionists have long been struggling against this challenge.

To find a solution to this problem Netmore M2M was engaged to address the challenges of static and signal interference in modern hospitals. The Netmore M2M Demo kit facilitated all this by verifying coverage and data transmission capacity before smart devices were deployed, thus making sure that local issues were addressed before the bigger solution was delivered.

GroupTalk  – IoT Solution for real-time collaboration

Real-time collaboration IoT solutions facilitate remote and mobile employee communication which in turn increases productivity, efficiency and security. Netmore M2M partnered up with GroupTalk, a Swedish Smart Communications company to enable an innovative push-to-talk IoT solution over 3G and 4G networks in Sweden and Norway.

Thanks to its unique roaming profile the Netmore M2M Smart IoT Sim solution smoothly met this challenge ensuring that the client always remained within reach of 3G and 4G networks. With the push of a button, this IoT solution allows colleagues to talk instantly with each other as well as in groups over their mobile devices.
